"Hot Love" by Eddie Doran

I began Hot Love years ago as a photocopied zine in the early 80s. I then moved on to other things. I revived Hot Love a couple years back with the idea of finally being able to use computer desktop publishing to make the mag be everything I ever dreamed it could - from full colour cover to cover on glossy paper to being able to scan (as opposed to photocopying) and reproduce exact copies of old articles on T.Rex from my vast collection of old U.S. pop mags. My goals are to share these things with other fans, as well as sharing my vast boot collection in a series of bonus CDs which come free with the mag. Having been un-impressed with the 3 songs from the Locarno Ballroom as featured on "Live At The Rainbow" as released on Edsel a few years ago + knowing I had a better quality recording of it - I decided it might be a good idea to get some better quality boot material around to people in case something like this comes up again - a better version will be available.

The price of the mag (each one comes with a bonus CD) varies from country to country based on the various postal rates. At present I'm charging $20 Canadian a copy in Canada. (below production costs actually) $20 in U.S. funds for a copy sent to the U.S. (higher value of U.S. dollar covers higher postal rates) And in the U.K., Germany and anywhere else in the world that Canada Post considers "overseas" the rate is 10 pounds sterling per copy OR $25 U.S. a copy. I've done 4 issues so far and hope to have issue #5 ready by late September 2004 Here are the CDs for each issue.
